Experience Naples Florida is a reading site. There is no login, no newsletter sign-up and no contact form, so we collect very little — and this page explains exactly what that little is.

Who we are
Experience Naples Florida (“we”, “us”) publishes independent travel writing about Naples and the Collier County coast at experiencenaplesflorida.com. You can reach us at hello@experiencenaplesflorida.com.
Information you give us
None is required. The site has no accounts, no forms and no comment section, so we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details. If you choose to email us directly, we keep that message only for as long as it takes to reply.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs, and — if you accept analytics cookies — we use Google Analytics to understand which guides are read. That can include:
- Pages viewed, time on page and the link or search that brought you here
- Approximate location at city level, derived from a truncated IP address
- Device type, browser and screen size
- A randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie so repeat visits are not double-counted
We do not use this information to identify you personally, and we do not attempt to combine it with any other data set.
Why we use it
Purely editorial: to see which stories are useful, which are ignored and where the site is slow. Where consent is the legal basis (for example under the GDPR), we rely on the choice you make in the cookie banner, and you can change it at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade visitor information. Data is processed by the service providers that make the site work — our web host and, with your consent, Google Analytics (Google LLC). We may also disclose information if required by law.
Links to other sites
Our guides link out to marinas, restaurants, parks, charter operators and public agencies. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's website, governed by their privacy policy — not this one. We have no control over what they collect.
Your choices and rights
- Decline analytics cookies in the banner, or clear this site's data in your browser to be asked again.
- Turn on “Do Not Track” or a browser blocker — we do not attempt to work around either.
- Install Google's analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- If you live in the EU/UK or California, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Because we do not maintain accounts, that will usually be very little or nothing at all.
Requests go to hello@experiencenaplesflorida.com.
Children
This site is written for adults planning travel. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised version.
